Renie Apayor’s Projects
-
Cellular Grouting to Backfill Underground Casings
Greater Toronto Area, ONA utility contractor required a grouting solution to backfill underground casings and control ground water migration into an excavation site. -
Chemical Grouting for Masonry Restoration
Guelph, ONVoids within a century old church tower required a low-density fill to prevent water infiltration from migrating within the masonry structure. Multiurethanes technical team safely filled the existing voids using durable chemical grout materials. -
Chemical Grouting to Stop Water Seepage into Utility Chamber
Guelph, ONEngaged in water stop project to seal joints in precast underground utility chamber where infiltration was inevitable due to a high-water table. -
Chemical Injection in Mechanical Room
Guelph, ONA building restoration contractor experienced water leakage into the mechanical room. Polyurethane resin was injected to fill the holes, forming a semi-rigid foam barrier and preventing further water leakage. -
Crack Injection around Industrial Pipe Penetrations
Kapuskasing, ONPerformed precision drilling for crack injection work to seal leaking joints and cracks, using polyurethanes resin at a hydroelectric generation station. -
Epoxy Injection in Canal Wall
Guelph, ONA restoration contractor refurbishing the canal and lock gates found a joint that required to be sealed from infiltration of water. The joint was filled with epoxy, forming a rigid barrier, preventing the infiltration of water into the canal wall. -
Fill stabilization around a manhole
Toronto, ONLoose fill surrounding a manhole structure required stabilization using crack injection to stabilize the fill prior to cutting through the structure wall. -
Grouting Program for Soil Stabilization
Toronto, ONApplied a chemical grouting solution involving sodium silicate, delivered through sleeve pipes, after surface voids formed during a directional drilling project beneath an airport construction job site. -
Leak sealing in Concrete Tunnel Liner
Toronto, ONEngaged on a time-critical water stop project to seal active infiltrations through a concrete tunnel liner using chemical grouts. -
Pressure Grouting for Railway Repair
Toronto, ONOur technical team developed a solution to lift train track crossings on wood ties by pressure grouting under the tracks. This new approach was fast, reliable and surprised the utility contractor, who had been looking for this solution for a long time. -
Soil Stabilization for High-rise Development Construction
Guelph, ONA building restoration contractor experienced water leakage into the mechanical room. Polyurethane resin was injected to fill the holes, forming a semi-rigid foam barrier and preventing further water leakage. -
Soil Stabilization in Tunnel Construction Project
Brampton, ONProvided soil stabilization for a complex tunnel project with several site restrictions including no drilling from surface and working in close proximity to sewer and water mains. -
Soil Stabilization Program for Utility Contractor
Toronto, ONAssisted a utility contractor in the implementation of a soil stabilization program when loose fill was encounter during excavation operations. -
Soil Stabilization Program using Sodium Silicate
Toronto, ONProvided technical services to implement a soil stabilization program when loose sands were encountered during a directional drilling project beneath an active airport apron.
